Our school environment welcomes and respects people from all backgrounds and countries. The students come from many different nations of the world this year. There are new arrivals/new migrants, International students and refugees.
We currently have or have had in the recent past, students from:
- Asia: China, Vietnam, Nepal, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Cambodia and Mongolia.
- Middle East: Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Iran and Turkey
- Europe: Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Portugal, Spain, Denmark, France, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Germany, Croatia and Albania
- South America: Peru, Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, Argentina and Colombia
- Africa: Senegal, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Nigeria
- The Pacific Ocean: Fiji, Tonga and Samoa
- The Indian subcontinent area: Mauritius, Sri Lanka, India and Bangaldesh.
We care for all of our students through our teaching programs as well as with our one to one assistance throughout their stay at MIEC with the counsellor and head teacher as well as our office staff and our school learning support officers - Ethnic (Vietnamese, Chinese, Tagalog, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese and Thai). Some of our teachers are also bilingual to help any students and they can speak in Greek, Italian, Portuguese, French, Turkish, Croatian, Serbian, Chinese, German and Spanish.
